saint lucia - peak your curiosity

A Caribbean honeymoon is a no-brainer, but glam as the gleam on the emerald island is, Saint Lucia offers more than your everyday drink-frozen-cocktails-‘til-you-fall-asleep-in-the-sand R'n'R. But you’ll realize this is no run-of-the-mill paradise as soon as you spot the soaring, jewel-toned peaks of the Pitons, which surround the wild flora and fauna of the rainforest below. Saint Lucia is about as unspoiled by civilization as it gets, and it’s pristine peaks and valleys are ideal for those honeymooners seeking a best-of-both-worlds dichotomy: a lax atmosphere with plenty of adventure-ops.
the romance

The beauty of Saint Lucia lies in its ability to entertain any couple with romance and flair. The wooing tactics are endless: crystal clear waters welcoming of sexy moonlight swims, volcano-sprouted hills to hike through, hammocks to nestle in, and beaches to mosey down at dawn while the effervescent island finally sleeps.
the scenery

The bold contrasts of the landscape are enviable of chiaroscuro-ing Renaissance artists: the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea, the vibrant green twin peaks, the fragrant wild orchids, the golden sand of the beaches, the historic ruins of old fortresses and the luxurious hotels and resorts makes for some awesome scene-scoping.
the adventure

Don’t let Saint Lucia’s hang-loose, hang-ten atmosphere fool you – there are plenty of opportunities for couples to experience thrill and adventure in the island's wilderness. Attempt an exhilarating zipline ride through the rainforest, hike around the fortress ruins at Pigeon Island, and try your hand at a whole host of water sports.
the secrets

In the otherwise tranquil towns of Gros Islet and Anse-la-Raye, locals and visitors come together every week for what’s known as the Friday Night Jump-Up, an outdoor dinner-and-dance party. Join ‘em for some get-down-on-it good times. For an evening more on the laid-back side, head to Anse-la-Raye to dine on some world-class seafood.
the attractions
