Montreal Wedding Cakes

I am a guy from Australia. I needed to order a special cake for a girl in Montreal for her birthday. So I googled and found La Gaterie. I was attracted by the pictures and gave them a call. They asked me what kind of cake I needed and gave me some suggestions on how they could personalize it for me. Since I wanted to give the girl a surprise, I did not ask her her address, and the staff at La Gaterie offered to call her for me and get the info. It was so frustrating when I heard that she was in Ottawa indefinitely. But that didn't stop the staff at La Gaterie! They were patient and helpful, and waited until they found someone who could deliver the cake to Ottawa for me! My friend loved the cake! I asked her to take a photo before enjoying it and to send the picture to me. It was a brilliant pink cake with everything I had described on it. I just could not say how much I appreciated all this because I had given up hope once I found out she was in a different city and had no idea this could actually work out! If you just want a cake, go to a bakery. If you want a great cake with the best service, go to La Gaterie.

As a guy, I was only concerned with the taste, but this was incredible. Rita makes not only the best tasting cake, but it looks like something out of a movie. She can recreate anything you want. If you bring her a picture of a phone, she'll make it into a cake. And not one of those cartoon phones... a real one! The service was impeccable. She will sit with you and come up with a design that fits your theme. She charges a little more, but it's well worth it.

the website doesn't do it justice. The most incredible looking and tasting cakes in Mtl. More expensive than an ordinary wedding cake because they really create cakes not just bake them in advance and freeze them until the wedding day like other places do. Rita is great and the set-up was beautiful. I have also used them for other occasions like birthday parties and Rita never ceases to amaze me. I simply love La Gaterie and I think they should be on the top of every bride's list.
